Franck Cine

Franck Cine is a Baruch College alumnus. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Business/Managerial Economics from Lubin School of Business. Mr. Cine also studied Business Administration, and Management at Harvard Kennedy School.
Mr. Cine’s seminal realization was in the field of Telecommunications in Haiti. Haitel was founded by Mr. Franck N. Ciné, a former MCI/Worldcom executive, and started operating in March 1999 in Haiti. It was the first mobile phone company to operate in Haiti until September of the same year with the arrival of Comcel/Voila using TDMA technology. In 2006, Haitel enhanced its network to CDMA 2000. Later on, the company faded into oblivion due to controversies with the Haitian government. Mr. Frank Cine is the chairman and CEO of Haitel.
